The good life model in psychology is known as an approach based on personal abilities and strengths, which by identifying the fundamental talents, needs and desires of people, provides appropriate solutions to empower them to find the best ways to solve problems and meet their needs. In this way, it increases the meaning and satisfaction of life. In the present research, which was carried out with a descriptive-analytical method and mainly based on library data, an attempt was made to analyze the applicability of the optimal way of life in the field of the criminal justice system and how to apply the ideas of this approach in the field of rehabilitative and preventive solutions. By using the good life model in the analysis of why crimes occur by criminals, attention is paid to the role of needs and their non-fulfillment. In fact, in this model, the reason for committing crimes is the use of non-normative tools in order to meet the needs, and the reason for not being able to use legitimate methods and Normative in achieving the desires; the lack of sufficient training, the disorder in the person's vision and attitude, the inability to evaluate various solutions and in general various psychological and environmental factors that keep a person away from access to legitimate means of well-being and reasonable and ethical evaluation are difficult for him. By using the solutions of this method, the possibility of participation and increasing the motivation of the offenders in the rehabilitation process has been improved, and in this way, increasing the effectiveness and stabilization of these measures is guaranteed to a significant extent.
